Slept in till 6:20 this morning.

I was describing how my knees were. Thinking back on last weeks runs.

Accidentally deleted my draft I’d written this morning already.

Need to do some learning for runners knee. But also check out that video about imbalances. Likely my body as it’s sore various days in various ways. I need backwards hills last week, and plenty of legs in the workouts too. So the running likely a little choppy as those muscles are not full strength which leads to more impact on the knee.

And so. Today well work the rehab again. David Goggins would say I’m being a bitch. Butttt. I gotta listen to my inner self. And also realize I’ve got momentum. I’ve got the value of getting out there. Glorious morning runs. I’m chomping at the bit to get out there again. But I need to go through the process of rebuilding. Repairing. Strengthening everything.

Last week. Chat gpt 5 was released too.

I was able to try out my habit track again on computer. First shot it missed some stuff. Then second attempt it thought harder, asked it for calendar and statistics. It was able to log in the filter on the calendar too. So you can see your crop of habits or just one. Quickly see which days you’re doing habit. I think the other from base 44 still gave me a better first shot which is wild. I’m thinking gpt I can iterate on this. Maybe more effectively. But at the same time. I’ve got better start with the other. Having to describe the changes. Versus I’ve seen in flow I think it was. You had a visual editor. The thing is designed for app building literally. Shows you desktop and mobile. But it didn’t return an answer last time. So maybe I just simplify. Add the layers up. Figure out the main control panel. And build it from there.

12:46 – after much ado, I was able to get my iPhone 11pro up and running connected to the network again. Which means I can use this phone now for my runs. The x I used on sat and Sunday was not super accurate with the route tracking. This one should be an improvement. And now with new battery. We’re feeling good we can do a full run without much issue.

I was using it this morning and noticed it really warmed up on me. But then cooled off and hasn’t been much issue. So I think that’ll be normal occasional.

Next update – I just upgraded to gpt plus. Soooo I’ve finally started a subscription for Ai. Which. To really get cracking on some of these ideas. I was maxing out on every platform. I know what this one has provided in the past so let’s give the new version a proper tryout.

3:11pm – The ability to iterate and indeed have working code to see how it pulls it off. Being able to just keep iterating with the 5 model thinking is ideal to see what it does relative to what I request.

It’s the future here. Now. Beyond the module code chunks I’ve got. Where I literally plugged these things into excel and added another program thing of function into the worksheet.

Now what it’s doing is combining all theses things to make me an excel app from scratch type deal. Which is cool but also frustrating as it’s not really executing on my vision. But that’s likely because of how I’m going after it. I think it’s going to come down to how I can articulate and guide it to create my vision. I’ve modified what I’m requesting now.

It’s similar to how I’m doing it in excel. Where I click on the habit and it fills it in. I’m looking at what it’s called on the side. instead of the full circuit board type deal clicking on it to fill it in. Hard to articulate and have it execute.

Iterate a bunch of times and then. I’ll sleep on it. And should have more idea what’s next.

Also, iterate on the website interface too. See if I can crack the code there.

I think if we can’t do it ourselves. The tools are so easy there’s a bunch of programmers who can execute on my specifics. I just feel like maybe that should be me who can do that given the tools. But it could mean that it’ll take another few months. It’s really just a matter of time. Experiencing how good it is. But also, it sucks a lot still too. So it alllmost feels like coding excel a couple years ago. But given this is the new paradigm. Anyone can build an app just using their words. That’s the target for this gen. Which is right up my alley.
