Slept in today. Last night was able to get some more sleep stretching. As the body loosens up. I did a bunch of hip crunching grinding once again. I can guarantee my hips continue to open up. The fact I can get the right hip doing this similar to the left. Also an indication of imbalance. Needed to get that fixed. So now is the time. The runs the leg workouts etc. the muscles needed time to build. So we’re allowing that while also continuing to stretch and strengthen.

Avoiding impact on the knees for last couple days. No running again today. We’ll get some stretches, mobility. And more squats and single leg deadlifts hip splits.

11:18 am — I was able to program a habit tracker on gpt5. It’s a first attempt at the daily interactive loop. Some nice effects etc.

12:58pm — made some more updates to the app. I’ve realized here now that yes indeed it’s a new paradigm. That to try and just port the excel doc doesn’t make sense. I need to build it out from scratch. With the new power of what an app can do. It’s not constrained anymore visually or functionally. This is literally the habit app. And with gpt I’m able to build the minimalist edition of my vision. It’s doing a damn good job of jumping in and fixing or adjusting any little request I give it. We’re on the right track for sure. But. Lots of uncertainty how this will translate further.

More things to work on would be to have it work with reduced number of habits. You can choose between 16 is the max. 8 or 4. So the ring is always balanced. As pre set visualizer to place your habits. This is something quick that a person can choose that was just such a pain for me to add to the excel. The app is going to be way more customizable. It should be able to rock the stats as well. Habits dashboard with all the relevant stats. Trying to figure out if time of day makes sense or not.

On my phone the app crashes like every time. So there’s that issue with the 11pro I think. Cest la vie. It’s wild to even have the option to do this stuff on my phone.

Another thought is how ppl access this app. How data gets stored. Is there some kind of sign in process.

We’re on track to building the alto app.

Woah. That’s been a long time. In my head. But here we are. Building an app.

The app in theory would also have your journal entries. Your to do list. Plus completed list.

Time of day, here’s how many hours are left.

Would maybe sync with your google calendar. Etc etc. if I were to build some of the other functionality that’s in the excel doc.

Right now just trying to figure out the habit tracking built from square one.

Still so much of it that I’m not jiving with. But. Even from yesterday we’re definitely on the right track. Just wondering how it progresses from here.

4:32pm – I forgot to mention. On the weekend I went to bed early on maybe Saturday night and I guess when Lauren gets to bed I’m asleep and laying there and I start flipping my hand up. Waving almost. And she’s like what is going on. What could I possibly be dreaming about. Haha. And then we figured. And she totally agrees. It was me waving to people on the running path. I’m dreaming about running. That’s how you know you’re settling into something new. That you’re doing stuff during the day. When you’re needing to process it while you sleep hah.

Annyyyways. Trying to figure out where to take the habit tracker next. It’s not about streaks. It’s about easy and dopamine of tracking. If you can make it something someone can quickly track habits complete throughout the day. Then someone will track habits throughout the day.
