I did a lazy warmup.
Went out for a walk. Just walk. Felt ok getting down the stairs. Moving around. No issues with the calves. So that was nice.
Got the shoes on and out I went. For a walk. Unfortunately, 2/3 and I went to speed up to get across the road with a car approaching. And that little speed up into a job. Was jarring for my left knee in particular. Had to shake it out a bit. Ouch.
I’ve got the tens machine hooked up to the right knee. I’ll be at the lake this weekend. The red light propernow, gets to get tested. I thiiink it worked really well on my calves. To get them back solid. I’ve got extra wear and work in my quads and I’m feeling the shins at times prior to the knee. And now the knee. Then yesterday the calf cramps. Ugh.
I think we’re on the right track. The quads are sore from the targeted leg workout. The shinbone muscle on the roller for shin splints. Is working well to banish those.
It’s really just getting the knees proper again. We’ll just zap them with this tens. And the other too. I know the quad will heal next day Friday or sat and be stronger. That’s what we are doing. Stretch and strengthen.
Timing wise would be a job on Saturday.
We’ll try another walk tomorrow.
I’ve got a couple apps to build out.
10:45 — cool. I was at least able to paint the picture. Get more specific with the phone case alter thing built in to the image. I’m curious if the chat can build out the landing page or not. It really struggled to get this the first attempt. I gave it a bunch and asked it to figure it out. Instead started over and built the imagery first. Now seeing if I can use that to build the landing page
11:18 — woah. I got on the foam roller and right hip and into the hip flexor. Pressed on that and twisted over and woahhhhh letting the muscle tenders just slowly release. It feels scared. Slowly sinks down into greater range of motion. Wowzer.
The knees still feel tender but they’re not sore in the same way. It’s pretty obvious I need to build the muscles around the knees. And also stretch them out so I can use them and stride properly. Thinking how I’m going to be able to run pain free for 20k in a cpl weeks. Last week felt like it would be no problem. Now feels like a different challenge. Forced instead to focus on reinforcement. Hoping I can do that and heal that level that. In time to get my running fitness back. Really the running will take care of itself. Aerobically felt just fine. Felt each run I had plenty in the tank. So really. It’s all about building up strength. Running specifically. Thinking even after knees feel good. No more than a walk still. But 100% do leg workout. Core workouts. At the lake. We should definitely do some deep water running. Just literally do that for like an hour. As if on a treadmill.
2:44 — I’ve been able to churn through a bunch. And yet. I’ve only still got the high level. I wonder if I could make those images into a gif. As you get closer. To sort of animate it now. Let’s give it a try.
I’ve got it working on my habit tracker. Doing deep research. I think the tools are there to pull all this stuff off. But it’s still sorta like pulling teeth. Definitely cutting edge where. There’s still plenty of grinding you need to do to get something to work. And now each time takes that much longer. For it to run through all of its work. I feel like I haven’t got that much further ahead. But I think. A win
It is tricky doing this new back and forth. It can do so much more for you in one shot. But you’ve got to wait each time. And then pick and choose what to have it go after. I’m trying to get a better dynamic square. In the process I had it update the calendar to see if that would work. I’m looking to have these days stack and create a mosaic. And boom it made it into a miniature and it changes dynamically when you change between number of habits. This is big. We’re finding what we can do. Making it fresh with this new tool. Beyond the constraints of excel. Trying to build it native is laborious. But really. It’s only been a few days of attempts at this. Started on Monday I think. So to have functional prototypes like this. It’s pretty legendary.
And now I’m trying the og habit loop design. Where I’ve got the horizontal dash along the sides. Vertical dash on either side those and the circles. If you’re doing the 16 habits and what we can do is make three other habits which have floating blocks which will act to fill in the white space. We’ll work on that next. Ultimately. If we can get this thing to build this visually. Then we’ve accomplished porting the handheld version. But could then chip away at building the calendar and stats. And eventually some kind of profile for saved progress. Orrrr something that makes it actually usable. Could port this into an app app you have on your phone. And this could be a literal widget shortcut on one of your pages.
6:47 — my right calf spazzed. Arg. I stretched my right leg IT band. Which is epic. But then sore. So then tens machine which helped a lot. But then cramped right calf. My legs have never had to deal with this kind of abuse!?
Chipped away at my habit tracker. Lots of back and forth. But each solid iteration that works it just gets further and further to the vision.
