Slept in till 6:20. Still able to get to work before everyone. A super solid sleep too.

I could just feel it in my bones. My muscles a good stretch waking up.

Easy movements around the house. Out the door. All the way into work, up the stairs etc. nooo problemo.

And then after sitting a couple hours. No issues standing up. Not old man bones getting up in the shape of the chair. Able to proper just stand up and walk.

Yesterday it appears was just what the doctor ordered. Able to skirt the line. Get the workout in despite some tightness here and there. I think ultimately. Timing wise. We nailed it. the water workout was the magic. Flush the system. Fire up all the systems. Lots of super dynamic movements.

What I can aim to do today is a walk or something after the kids go to bed. Maybe see if we can jog at the end of the day. But I think we just aim first for a longer walk. Would be great to get out. See what we can do. WITHOUT OVER DOING IT.

If we can make it through today and tomorrow with some of this type of stuff. Make sure we get the stretches in. And I’m thinking we can do the knee workouts too.

Then we can aim for a short jog on Thursday. And then fingers crossed we’re ready to roll for a lake run on Friday. And so forth. To get back in the saddle. Get ramped up safety for the half marathon. Make sure we are fresh. But also strong but also etc etc.

So we can get that run done. And then progress towards the big kahuna oct 11.

A little blip. But we’re still on track.

This is part of the process. For me at least. Part of my experience.

1:19 — WE’RE BACK BABY!!!

Just walked around a bit, down a flight of stairs. Across the parking lot etc etc. and it. Was. Glorious.

Walking freely. Walking effortlessly. A bit of a spring in my step. Yesssssir.

I don’t think I’ve felt any grabs or tightness today so far. Still a bit of anxiety but really. For the most part. I’m forgetting there was ever an issue until I consciously think how sweet it is that I’m moving again.

What I’m noticing is how much range of motion I dooo have in my calves now. It’s alllmost like all these times I’ve been stretching it out. That my calves are now elongated from the process. So curious what running will feel like. When I get out there.

Anndddd I think I might have just figured out my little challenge thing. Similar to Bryson. But this one. When I score 10 balls in a row,

I’ll reveal the practice routine. And the super top secret weapon I’m using. As part of the setup.
