12:29 pm — slept in till about 9 ish. Kids at the farm.
I went for a run at 10:15am
I did a bit of stretching first. A little sore. Not gonna lie. A little hesitant with the left calf there. And then a little feels in the right knee.
But. We set out slow. Then tried a little jog. Then walk then jog. Then walk. Then. But more running esq.
It’s almost like learning to run again. Being super conscious of the impact on the knees and strain in the calves.
I ran out to pick up my car from a cpl nights ago. Then an errand on the way home.
Then a leg workout at home.
Stretching it out. But the. Doing some squats. Lunges. Split squats. Hip hinges. Deep squat. Jefferson curl.
And then a protein shake.
Well monitor the legs closely. I’m hoping this run this morning was just them getting going again. It’s been like 3 weeks now. So. The knees should be fine to handle some load. But ease it in. And the calves. Well. A little annoying that they felt that way this morning. Thinking maybe not hydrating. Or fueling properly. But then also having not stretched much yesterday. Overall I’ve been moving really well. Up and down stairs around around etc etc.
Next now next we’ll go tackle more of the garage. I was trying to work it out in my head falling asleep last night. I think maybe I’ve got the idea of how to start. The main shift. Putting all those large panels and the doors along that one wall. I think for now at least. Until somewhere better. Then we can pack wood into the corner to complete the wood stack collection together. And then pots and planters and dirt and the mower and bikes and winter sleds. Pack all that stuff on the one wall.
2:08 — nice. Ok. We moved all the large flat boards and panels and a cpl doors to the one wall. Not idea how far it sticks out.
I decided that I like the wraparound workbench for my zone. So I kept that as is. I then disassembled the other one. It was not very space efficient.
I’m now going to build the workbench all the way. Will require me to chop down one of them. Shouldn’t be too tough. And then cut some 2×4 or something similar. And I can anchor that to the wall. This will give me a counter that goes the whole distance which will be pretty sweet. I’m thinking I can pop the bar clamps in the corner there. And maybe some of the other long sticks. And then pop the other woods of various sizes there as well. Then I’ll be able to pack all the other stuff into that area. And then at some point work on wall mounting stuff. Maybe add another shelf.
After I build this corner counter. I’ll be able to slide all the other stuff into the corner. And see where that gets me. I will have space to extend the low table, but not yet. We’ll see how we do with just this.

5:12 — just kept going and going. Pretty pumped to get the full wraparound countertop.
I wonder what I’ll do with all the thin boards I’ve got, and the two doors. I want to significantly reduce the wall. In fact, i want to move everything off that wall.
The goal is to be able to comfortably park in the garage. I could probably fit all those boards on the outside of the fence. By the tree. lol.
Oooo, let’s also take a look at adding flooring. Could be legit. Or could be more effort than it’s worth. Put down that foam roll stuff. And boards on top. I wonder how much I’ve got.
And then the question is if we use it. Or sell it or toss it. My thinking would be tossing all those floor boards would be path of least resistance.
Then I’ve got the cabinet thing. I can completely clear that out. We can have useful stuff in there for winter and summer. Right now a bunch of junk.
I can move that fan out. from the Other corner.
I’ve got that and can tidy up a bunch of other stuff. Under that main workbench.
Bigger fish to fry first.
