6:30am— a little knee pain. From last night as well put a hot water bottle on it.
This morning tho, lay out warm up. Heat on it. But then the ball. In hip and into the quad. Right side. Twitching without much effort. And then it effectively released the tension in the knee.
Sometimes that’s all that’s going on. One area is tight and starts pulling another area, which is where you might feel the discomfort. Which is the tricky part. I’ve got knee pain. But really. It’s elsewhere that’s the culprit.
3:25pm — especially now with copilot. My goodness. I just did a crash course in trading economics. I can plug in legit specifics because it’s within the company. So now I’m not afraid at all. Being able to do econs. Pretty straightforward. Being able to understand the refinery, no problem. I’m coming up to completing my 3rd year as a professional analyst. My main focus has been on managing renewable fuels logistics. Effectively. Supply chain. Inventory management. Being able to discuss some lingering questions. Getting quick answers. Without looking dumb. Like how ci a can be positive but also negative. Hah. Instant clarity now on stuff like that. But then also the LP. How it makes decisions. I’ve been downloading all these conversations. And then having the copilot there to just rip through some examples. I’m more than equipped to handle what comes next. A key would be to showcase that skill. Discuss the future. Within our team or elsewhere. Lots of shake up in the industry. I love Regina right now. It’s not perfect for my golf game tho.
If I were to win a million dollars. I like this exercise. That amount is not enough to just sit on my hands or whatever. And I wouldn’t want to anyways. Pay off the house. Rebuild the garage? And or see if we can buy the neighbour. Or be ready when that might pop up. We love our house. But a bigger garage. A bigger basement. Maybe it could mean doing what Zach did with their garage. Lot line to lot line. Or could be sweet if we dug down and added a basement to the garage. Plus a mezzanine. Etc. but all that. You would blow through pretty quick. Would it allow me to pursue something parallel? I have the new passion for long distance running. And I have the passion for practicing and playing golf. I also love building useful tools both physical and digital.
The golf swing has been similar to designing and testing and iterating a new product. Challenge is you don’t have a save point for it. It’s constantly evolving and that’s part of the intrigue.
The digital tools. Or physical. You build them out and they’re consistent with the cutting edge. No regression. Not change once you reach those milestones or version save points.
The running you’re building a base. So that feels like it’s stackable. Progression.
The golf. The challenge is a system to improve that is similar to those others. Which. I think I’ve got. Which I’ll test again this winter.
9:39 — my garage golf setup is an absolute game changer. The session this evening. Like 10 minutes. First doing one rack of bump shots. Then strobe on. Lights out. Just adjust and do whatever. Try whatever. Adapted. Now lights on. Strobe off. And wham. I had it going pretty quick so I wasn’t expecting too much more. But I got it. And all of the sudden new shots. New crisp was instantly accessible.
You can literally hit balls for a lifetime and never make that kind of progress. It takes effort to stop racking balls. Do this that’s hard. But actually quite easy but takes you away from beating balls. But. When you feel how valuable. You’ll get addicted. I’m going to figure out how to build this setup out even better so that lights on lights off is effortless. That’s part of the resistance. The effort. Is the setup. But feeling how good. It’s a no brainer. And it’s super exciting how far this simple setup can take me. This simple 5 minute 10 minute daily routine. Will give me insane vision skill. It will look like magic, whitcraft voodoo Jedi shit. But it’s just because I’ve got more frames. The art of learning. Mastery.
Starts here. The off season. Started this week with my new habit tracker. Gets my mind right. My life coordinated. My goals aligned. Tracking. Forward unto dawn.
