7:01am — I had a nightmare last night. Or close to it at least. I was going to the start of the race. I think I had done it already so maybe this was going again.
I forgot gloves and a hat.
We had taken a plane. And then a jet or something.
Then Im looking for socks.
I don’t have my music. But that’s ok. I didn’t need that much previously.
The socks. I had grabbed the wrong socks. wtf. The ones with holes. I’m like. I’m not going to last 10 minutes before I get a blister with these. So I back track. My buddy Sam helps for a minute but I tell him to go get started.
Then Im stuck there trying to lace up shoes. I have this person try and then another. And I’m like. This sucks. Hah. I’m just eating into my time sitting here trying to get my shoes on.
And then I wake up.
I’m a little tired but I’m relieved I’m up and out of that loop I was in.
All of that sounds quite similar to the actual pre race stress. Processing clearly still going down.
9:53 am —. Ok we made great progress Sunday. Pulling everything out. Testing what it looks like potentially to have the garage golf setup. Could be interesting if we painted it. After touching everything. Pulled the stuff from that top shelf. Re organize that stuff. The lightweight planting stuff can go up there. Can probably hook up the wire things for tomatoes on their own somewhere.
Investigate more hooks and shelves and whatnot.
Would like to build out a much larger shelving setup for the non car side.
Need to mask the tires, need to spray the tires and then install them.
Then roll the summer tired to side of the house and cover them up.
Need to cover up the furniture.
Need to cover up the picnic table.
When tires are out.
Can work on fixing the stroller I guess. If we’re considering selling it. Could do a carbon fibre fix to try and get it tip top. Needs a new hub cap. Could spray one with metallic. Etc etc.
The stroller was massively in the way. Curious how much space we’ve got now with that latest shift around
