i’m focused on that spot just behind the ball. that’s where the low point is. that’s what i’m trying to hit through … a key here tho. to help trigger me to see that at the range and on the course.

brush the grass on the backswing, for that little strip where your bottom arc exists.

then that adds a bit of lag in the hands and club, take it back don’t over cork it. but take it back.

at address you likely have the club sitting slightly open on the ground…

you’re fairly square to the ball and target line. you’re brushing straight back and then your goal is to swing back on that line, if you are gripping properly at setup then this produces the straight ball. if you’re not a touch open you’ll experience a draw, can maybe tweak around with this for effects.

having the shaft mid kick instead of low kick. allowed me to square up and get the club in front and on that line without it lagging right at impact… feel the club stay more connected. allowed me to find that square setup, that trigger on the ground. and confidence in swinging that swing.
