I have a super power

Someone said simplifying complicated mechanical things.

The golf swing.

The jump shot.

Physical stuff with the body I’m very in tune with.

I was able to do a lot of my own physio/ trainer. Diagnose and rehab and build. Understand my body more deeply.

My super power tho. Is what I did for golf.

I mean. Building out the systems. Tracking. Become a runner from scratch. That was legit. Lots of problems. A fun puzzle. With a final exam. Most worthy. Most satisfying.

But the golf. Has been iterating for years and year.

The super power for me. Is my ability to practice. To grind.

I guarantee. What comes easy for me there. Most it would not.

I’m sure running. Is more like that for other people. Obsessed. I was not. But I knew it was good. And it was. So it was something I figured out.

Thinking about signing up for another race. A big scary one, but not for a couple years. This is like. Olympics style training routine. Plenty of time but I’ve got to start now. I think would be safe to scale. With hindsight at my side.

Would help me continue the running thing. It’s not something that comes easy. But the benefits are massive.

The golf. That’s easy. Which is the super power.

My ability to obsess over the grind. Imagine I could dedicate more time. More days to it. More resources.

Right now. I’m going to set up the grind fest. Pain. In the garage.

Do my practice. But Ive got something easy to film. And post.

The super power is that doing this daily is easy for me. My fear is it won’t be entertaining enough. Hence do the practice so I’m in a good rhythm before I challenge the highest score.
