Am I getting better?

Half of it is remembering what worked. So going day to day even. I’m like. Continuing to shift my way of hitting. Which. is good I think. But also means Im still learning. There’s so many little tiny variables and combinations.

I guess it’s just having those insights. As you go through all the combinations. And over time you start experiencing ones that produce various outcomes.

It just takes time.

I’m getting better options. And they’re showing up with control.

The box will help me build confidence.

The strobe lights last night. Going deep. Was excellent. Waiting for the target to dry.

The target is done! Sort of.

It’s pretty legit tho. We’ll try and deal just this one top side. And see if it holds.

I’m thinking about covering it with cardboard. Or wood. Cardboard would dampen the impacts.

Also thinking I’ll build a nice secondary target platform.

What I’m working on. That I can tell is working. Is groooving my shoulders. Feeling the club shaft and grip and how that impact the club face.

Having super strong base and shoulders. And to see the club look easier to hit. Tighter to the ground.

I’m working on that micro take away. Which I can build strength on the whiteboard. Giving myself just those tiny dots to erase. And like operation. Don’t touch the edges.

Identified how much it helps. And how confident the move was when that motion going back was super under control.

I’ve only just this morning had a chance to test the new target. Which is more locked in proper angle and everything. Was thinking maybe the pipe is too tall.

Ok. Both targets are the shorter style. Which. Makes sense. Elevating so high is like just thaaat much more difficult. Etc step is for sure to chop that pipe down a few inches.

It’s hard enough.

But then yeah. Have that secondary shelf there for various aiming and a little more forgiving on the carry. And also if you go for the target will show long or short feedback.

Next step. Chop the pipe. Stoked.

Should increase my makes. Will give me plenty to try and drop in higher arc. But will allow a slightly lower angle. Still pin point aim and still needs high enough angle to drop in. But by lowering I just increase that acceptable angle. Will still be super challenging. But if I’m going to share this also if this will proper help me. I need to do this.

I chopped it down. It was not a perfect chop. I think I’ll be able to belt sand it down to be even.

I might also consider painting that pipe connector. Would add a touch of forgiveness.

The box second tier worked well. But I think would be sweet to make the front into a more open look. Still with something you need to clear tho. But to see more easily the balls that get into the box. Also somehow dampen the impact to catch more balls. But maybe that’s just sending balls with more backspin.

The lower pipe is much better already.

And the glue is holding up nicely as well. It’s good enough we can add extra to reinforce below. There’s plenty of impact and vibration. Especially when cold. So what we’ll do is box up the front. To protect it there. Also make look more seamless. Also add the return runner pieces.

The left leg gets strained. Quad. I can feel it. And have felt it. After getting these reps in. In that position. Working. Without really paying attention to muscles required. Like a workout. It just is distracting. What that you’re working so hard. Can feel it in the back. As it gets tired. But the left quad is interesting for sure.

And then the left hand wrist. With weighted club especially you’re feeling it. All of this is to say.

Small doses. Sometimes heavy doses each day. Over many many days. You just build up that strength.

Especially good right now. Is building that strong takeaway. And using the whiteboard to get that micro movement enhanced. Focused. Zoomed in. I’ll get the benefit of all this work. As the days and weeks. It’ll continue to click together. I’ll continue to get more and more shots. And understanding of what works.
